Founded in 1997, Instituto Hispania was created with a mission to promote Spanish Language and Culture in India and the Asian region. A registered society under the Indian Registration Act, we have seven members on our board. The director of Instituto Hispania Ms. Laura Benito, an Postgraduate in Psychology of Education from Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, and M.Phil by Jawaharlal Nerhu University, New Delhi . She is a Spanish National.
 
Instituto Hispania has a strength of 52 people; all dedicated to the promotion of Spanish Language and Culture in India. We have language experts from India and well as Spanish speaking nationals, from Spain and Latin American countries. Instituto Hispania has FIVE branches in India: New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and Pune.
 
Instituto Hipania has published its own study materials adapted to linguistic needs of Indian people.
 
We are the affiliated center of FIDESCU (Ministry of Education, Spain), and we offer D.I.E (Diploma Internacional de Español) examinations. The accreditation by FIDESCU implies that we are eligible to conduct International Certifications for language enthusiasts who wish to test their knowledge in Spanish at the international level. Since all our centers in India follow the same pattern, with respect to the guidelines, certification, education system and quality controls, all our centers have been accredited as Examination Centers.
